Instructor

Bio

When did you start training BJJ? I’m BJ, and I started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu about a year ago.

  • What do you enjoy about coaching, or why do you coach? Coaching allows me to share the emotional and mental value that Jiu-Jitsu brings. I truly enjoy being part of a supportive team and helping others grow through the art.

What’s your favorite position to teach?

  • I enjoy teaching traditional submissions—they showcase the fundamentals and power of technique within Jiu-Jitsu.

What are three BJJ habits you consider essential? For me, the essentials are:

  • A strong foundation in the fundamentals
  • Discipline in training and mindset
  • Ethical understanding and respect for others
  • What has training BJJ taught you? It’s taught me self-control and brought a deep sense of humility. The challenges on the mat mirror life, and I've grown a lot personally.

When you're not on the mat, how do you spend your time?

  • When I’m off the mat, I love hanging out with my friends and definitely prioritize my sleep—recovery is just as important as training!
