With over two decades of experience, our team has been dedicated to working with kids and honing their BJJ skills. Our head instructors Marc and Kelly Hassell Cramer, received their black belts in 2013 from Charles Gracie, son of Grandmaster Robson Gracie and Grandson of Grandmaster Carlos Gracie. This lineage of expertise ensures that our instructors bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every class, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for your child. We understand that every child is unique, and our program is tailored to cater to individual learning styles and needs.

Every staff member undergoes Annual Background Checks and holds current certifications in CPR/First Aid, Safesport, and Abuse Prevention training.

Our instructors participate in regular coaching clinics, and self defense seminars keeping current with the latest teaching methodologies and safety protocols.

  • How often do you recommend I come to the gym?

    We advise participating in Jiu-Jitsu classes two to three times a week to develop muscle memory. Beyond being a sport, Jiu-Jitsu is a lifestyle that teaches kids the importance of balance in their daily activities. Embrace this journey without the risk of burnout!

Is it safe?

    While no sport or martial art can be deemed entirely 'safe,' Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a non-striking discipline focusing on ground fighting and submission techniques. In our controlled training environment, students engage in grappling or sparring with the assurance of safety, utilizing the 'tap out' signal to maintain their well-being.

  • What will my first time in your gym be like?

    Your child's initial class will be a carefully guided experience. Our skilled instructors will ensure that all movements are executed safely and within a controlled setting.

  • My kid is getting bullied or is a bully. Is this the right place for him/her?

    As a parent, you might wonder if teaching your kids to fight is beneficial. 


    The concern that learning Jiu-Jitsu might promote fighting is common, but in fact, the opposite is often true. Jiu-Jitsu, a non-striking martial art, fosters humility, respect, and confidence by teaching youth how to stay safe in potentially violent situations. 


    This knowledge not only empowers them but also encourages healthy conflict resolution, providing peace of mind in knowing your child can defend themselves if necessary.
